Ch. Sandels Duchess of Monarch CDX RA NA NJW
Well in 20yrs of training dogs the breed that has totally stolen my heart is the Papillon. Smart and easy to
train I find them to be a constant form of entertainment.
As with any breeding program we only breed for improving an already lovely breed. A selective breeding
practice where blood lines are compared and researched. We do not take breeding dogs lightly. We do
not breed with trends or popularity. Each dog needs to be evaluated on it strong and weak points. Than
find a mate that will improve on any faults or bring out an already outstanding characteristic.
I enjoy showing and training dogs. But eventually I find the time to produce a replacement for the dogs I
am exhibiting at the time. A litter takes a lot I time, so if I'm campaigning a dog I don't have any pups . I
have to committed to the dogs I'm training first when they've completed my goals I turn toward breeding.
Breeding can be very stressful on me and the bitch. I lot of time goes into the socialization of that litter
which is necessary for any great pet or show dog. I am committed to that mother and her babies so I don't
stray to far from home. But breeding gives me the ability to find the next great performance dog, the one
that fits my personality and competition desire.
