GSP's are a very versatile dog. They are great retrievers unlike what many may think, in water or
upland.  Here are some photos that show what pointers are bred to do. Even if his owner doesn't
hunt. They will hunt something, its in their soul. With a little field work and obedience training most
hunters can have a very accomplished bird season.

I love watching  a bird dog in the field there's nothing else like it.  I still get goose bumps when a dog
goes on point.
